How did you get into radio?

Started on campus radio (UJFM) and haven't stopped since

What do you love about working with 919?

I like that we have a diverse playlist and the freedom to have interesting conversations about things that are important or fun within our community, city and country while focusing on the positive

Energy, hustle and gold

Where are you based, and what’s the route you travel to get to the station?

Linden. Generally along Jan Smuts up to Hyde Park where there is a man painted completely on silver who acts like a statue unless he's directing the traffic at the intersection

What do you get up to when you’re not doing your show / working at 919?

I'm generally busy with content creation or strategy for social media platforms, watching home renovation shows or procrastinating going to gym

Who are your favourite artists and genres?

I have a fondness for a wide variety of music genres. Dance/Electronic, Afro tech, House, Disco House, Rock, Indie, Folk, Hip Hop (Old School and new) Pop, Disco, 80's, Contemporary R&B, Funk, Soul, Latin House, Afro Beats, Bolero, New-Age, Celtic, World Music. A few favourites are Msaki, Radio Head, Goldfish, Jamiroqui, Rhythms Del Mundo, Fred Again, Bicep, Sun-El Musician
