How did you get into radio?
I started volunteering on weekends at a community radio station (based in Westburry, Johannesburg) while I was working a nine-to-five job. I then moved to working for an online radio station reading news for the breakfast show. After that I joined 919FM reading weekend news. I was later offered weekday shift, reading for the breakfast.
What do you love about working with 919?
The feel good music and the people I work with.

Where are you based, and what’s the route you travel to get to the station?
I am based in Westdene. From my place I use the Melville route leading me into Rosebank, then Illovo.
What do you get up to when you’re not doing your show / working at 919?
If I am not teaching English online, I am watching movies/series.
Who are your favourite artists and genres?
Artists: John Legend, K.O and Drake. Genres: RnB, Soul and Deep House Music
