How did you get into radio?
Working at 919 is my first Radio gig , I was so persistent and wanted to work with StarFM at the time from 2020 and continuously sent mail for 3 years straight to Caren, it was last year around August that she gave me one of the biggest highlights of my life! Started doing graveyard shifts from 4-6am every morning eventually stand-ins and now co-hosting the Sunday Revolution with Chris.
What do you love about working with 919?
Can I say everything? The people, the atmosphere the patience everyone had with me and held my hand through my entire learning journey, whenever I get a chance to do stand ins or even come on my show I get goosebumps the day before cause it’s being so exciting since I began so literally EVERYTHING!!
If we say Joburg, what comes to mind?
Concrete Jungle where dreams are made of, I think home all my life has been in Joburg so it really is home.
Where are you based, and what’s the route you travel to get to the station?
Edenvale and Alberton so it differs from time to time.
What do you get up to when you’re not doing your show / working at 919?
Run a floral business & doing my Post grad in Logistics & Supply Chain
Who are your favourite artists and genres?
Drake, Nicki Minaj , Burna Boy, Tamia and my favourite genre is RnB & Old school music with a bit of hip hop from time to time.
