How did you get into radio?

It has been such a long journey of rejection, believing in my talent and my relentless spirit of knowing this is what I was made for. I started my radio journey with UKZNRadio in 2009 until it was closed in 2011. I later on moved to Johannesburg in 2018 and I attended the Hot 91.9Fm Radio Training Academy in 2019. After numerous demo submissions to commercial radio stations , I got the email from Caren Du Preez to finally join 919.

What do you love about working with 919?

It truly has to be the positive feel of the station. Also the privilege for people to let me into their lives as I entertain them with great conversation and an even better playlist that evokes all sorts of nostalgic memories.

If we say Joburg, what comes to mind?

Self Actualisation… A place where I was told there is hold and that I know for sure I will find my gold!

Where are you based, and what’s the route you travel to get to the station?

Waterfall , Johannesburg

What do you get up to when you’re not doing your show / working at 919?

I run a Digital Marketing Boutique Consultancy. I love travelling and experiencing this beautiful city we are lucky enough to call home.
